I’m sure by now everyone has heard the news, Halo: The Master Chief Collection is coming to PC. There’s rumblings of cross-play afoot. On top of that, Reach’s multiplayer will be added to the collection at no cost, however, the single player and firefight portions of the game will be DLC. So prep your wallets for that. Gamers have been asking for this to happen for quite some time and they also get a little extra, MCC is going to be available on Steam of all places, as well as the Windows 10 store.
“We are laying the groundwork for PC native features such as excellent mouse and keyboard controls, support for multiple resolutions and aspect ratios, field-of-view sliders, and adjustable framerates, to name but a few. And yes, there will be support for Xbox gamepads and other PC controllers,” 343 Industries said in an announcement post.
The only true caveat is the fact that Reach will be the first Halo game made available. the rest of the games will be patched in one by one in order of release. This should mean that 343 industries and Microsoft are gearing up for a big launch of Halo Infinite!
